catches for 244 yards and a TD in Yale's 24-21 win over Harvard. He was hospitalized Friday due to tonsillitis with a fever of 103 and was given
intravenous antibiotics. By game time, his fever dropped to 102.

Poteete gained 362 total yards and five TDs (three passing, two rushing) and Koustos ran for 220 yards and a TD leading Southern Illinois to a 52-14 rout of Western Kentucky.

Travis Prentice ran for 49 yards and a touchdown to break the
NCAA's record for Division I-A rushing touchdowns and lead Miami of
Ohio to a 43-0 victory over Buffalo. Prentice finished his career
with 73 rushing touchdowns, breaking Ricky Williams' year-old
record of 72.

Virginia's Thomas Jones ran for 91 yards in a 34-30 win over
Maryland. Jones racked up 1,798 yards this season, breaking the ACC
single-season record set in 1970 by Don McCauley. |
Sanders' record fried |
Kavin Gailliard rushed for 198 yards and three touchdowns,
setting the NCAA all-division single-season rushing record, in
American International's 41-20 win over C.W. Post 41-20. Gailliard
gained 2,653 yards on the season, breaking Barry Sanders' record of
2,628 set in 1988.

Nevada receiver Trevor Insley caught 14 passes for 242 yards
and two touchdowns, becoming the first NCAA receiver to reach the
2,000-yard mark in a single season in a 37-35 loss to Utah State.
He also set the NCAA Division I record for career receptions with
298.

LaMont Jordan set a Maryland record, rushing for 306 yards and two TDs, including a 90-yarder, in a 34-30 loss to Virginia. Jordan
finished the season with 1,632 yards, the highest total by a junior
in ACC history.

With a 31-21 loss to Clemson, South Carolina extended the
nation's longest losing streak to 21 games, finishing the season 0-11 under new head coach Lou Holtz. The Gamecocks became the first Southeastern Conference team to finish 0-11 without forfeits.
