MADISON, Wis. (AP) _ Tauja Catchings had 19 points and 13 rebounds as Illinois (No. 16 ESPN/USA Today Coaches Poll, No. 15 AP) beat Wisconsin 80-74 Tuesday night. The Illini (12-4, 2-0 Big Ten) led by 21 points at halftime by holding the Badgers (5-5, 0-2) to 9-for-29 shooting (31 percent). Wisconsin led 10-9 with just over 13 minutes left in the first half when Illinois went on a 35-13 run for the 44-23 halftime lead. The Badgers closed within 78-74 with six seconds to play.
