TALLAHASSEE, Florida (Ticker) -- Third-ranked North Carolina State continued the best start in school history with a 62-58 Atlantic Coast Conference victory over Florida State as Tynesha Lewis and Kaayla Chones scored 17 points apiece.

Terah Lewis added 10 points, six rebounds, seven assists and eight turnovers for the Wolfpack (13-0, 4-0 ACC), who improved to 3-0 on the road in league games.

North Carolina State shot 52 percent (13-of-25) in the second half after connecting on only 32 percent (7-of-22) over the opening 20 minutes.

April Traylor scored 23 points and Brooke Wyckoff added 12 and 10 rebounds for Florida State (7-5, 0-2), which has lost two in a row following a three-game winning streak. The Lady Seminoles shot under 40 percent (19-of-48), including 2-of-12 from 3-point range.
