SANTA BARBARA, California (Ticker) -- Erin Buescher scored 14 of her 20 points in the first half as 20th-ranked Santa Barbara raced to an early 27-point lead and coasted to a 95-69 rout of Idaho in a Big West Conference game.

Kristi Rohr and reserve Tawnee Cooper added 12 points apiece and Kayte Christensen had 11 for the Gauchos (13-3, 2-0 Big West), who extended their winning streak to eight games.

Buescher's free throw with 12:15 left in the first half gave Santa Barbara a 29-2 lead. The advantage ballooned to 66-25 at halftime as the Gauchos shot 53.5 percent (23-of-43) while holding Idaho to 29 percent (7-of-24).

Ten different players scored in the first half and no one played more than 23 minutes for Santa Barbara.

Susan Woolf had 19 points and Alli Neiman 15 for the Vandals (8-7, 1-1), who had a three-game winning streak stopped.
