Michigan's Ingram scores 19 points

CHAMPAIGN, Ill. (AP) -- Alayne Ingram scored 19 points and Raina Goodlow added 17 Monday as Michigan beat Illinois (No. 12 ESPN/USA Today Coaches Poll, No. 13 AP) 86-69.

The Illini (14-6, 4-2 Big Ten) struggled with 30 percent shooting from the field (12-of-39) in the first half and trailed 39-31 at the break.

The Wolverines (12-4, 4-1) made 59 percent of their shots (17-of-29) in the second half as they coasted to victory despite 21 turnovers in the game to only 10 for the Illini. They also dominated the boards 47-30.

Tauja Catching's 23 points and six rebounds topped Illinois. Allison Curtin added 15 points and Susan Blauser 14.

Ingram was 8-of-14 from the field, including three 3-point baskets.
