DENTON, Texas (Ticker) -- Stacy Clinesmith sank six 3-pointers and finished with 22 points as No. 17 Santa Barbara pulled away in the second half to beat North Texas, 78-62.

Erin Buescher added 17 points and nine rebounds for the Gauchos (14-3), who have reeled off nine straight victories. Santa Barbara only led 37-35 after the first 20 minutes, but shot 54 percent from the field (15-of-28) in the second half.

Nicole Thomas scored 19 points for the Lady Eagles (9-7), who could not build on the momentum of a first half in which they shot 50 percent (12-of-24) from the field.

Both teams had 21 turnovers, but Santa Barbara held a 24-8 advantage on the offensive glass. North Texas was outrebounded, 45-22.
