LUBBOCK, Texas -- Aleah Johnson scored 21 points and Plenette Pierson had 17 as Texas Tech (No. 11 ESPN/USA Today Coaches Poll, No. 15 AP) beat Kansas (No. 24 ESPN/USA Today Coaches Poll, No. 23 AP) 76-56 on Saturday. Katrissa O'Neal and Tanisha Ellison each added 10 points for Texas Tech (15-2, 4-2 Big 12), which shot 50 percent from the field and held Kansas (12-5, 3-2) to 35 percent shooting.
