BOX SCORE
NORTH LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (AP) -- A 10 a.m. tipoff wasn't enough to throw No. 2 Louisiana Tech off its game. Betty Lennox scored 15 points to lead six Lady Techsters in double figures as Louisiana Tech beat Arkansas-Little Rock 95-52 Friday. Tech (14-2, 5-0 Sun Belt) and Arkansas-Little Rock (4-11, 1-4) were scheduled to play Thursday night. But snow forced postponement of the game for one day. The game was scheduled for Friday morning because Tech needed to be back home for a game against Arkansas State on Saturday. "Playing two games in two days kind of throws a kink in our season. But what will really make things rough is if we have to spend seven hours busing back home," Tech coach Leon Barmore said. UALR had no choice but to postpone Thursday's game. "We were looking out for the safety of the fans, the players and everybody involved," Arkansas-Little Rock spokesman Mike Garrity said. Tech made 21-of-37 shots in the first half, including 6-of-11 3-pointers, en route to a 55-16 lead. Arkansas-Little Rock made 5-of-24 in the half. Arkansas-Little Rock finished with 39 turnovers, Louisiana Tech only 19. "Tech is a great team. We knew we were going to be outmanned," UALR coach Tracy Stewart-Lange said. Shaka Massey, Cheryl Ford and Takeisha Lewis added 13 points each for Louisiana Tech, Ashley Antony had 11 and Catrina Frierson scored 10. Quasha Burley, who led Arkansas-Little Rock with 14, said the near-empty arena of 255 spectators Friday morning was not unusual. "We don't have a lot of people at our games," she said. "We didn't expect many (Friday). It made it kind of like practice, just the players and the coaches. It was quiet."
