NORFOLK, Virginia (Ticker) -- Lucienne Berthieu scored 18 points and grabbed a career-high 17 rebounds as No. 17 Old Dominion won its 90th straight Colonial Athletic Association contest with a 96-44 rout of William & Mary.

Berthieu's effort help the Monarchs (14-3, 7-0 CAA) win their seventh straight game overall and notch their most lopsided win since topping St. Francis (Pa.), 92-39, in the 1998 NCAA Tournament. Old Dominion's stifling defense has limiting its opponents to an average of 57.8 points the last four games.

Natalie Diaz scored 17 points, Sharron Francis added 15 and Hamchetou Maiga and Okeisha Howard 14 apiece for the Monarchs, who handed the Tribe (5-11, 0-6) their seventh straight loss.

Old Dominion gained control in the first half, shooting 40 percent (18-of-45) from the floor to open a 48-17 lead. The Tribe (5-11, 0-6) shot just 24 percent (6-of-25) in the opening 20 minutes and were 1-of-8 from 3-point range.
