Erb leads N.C. State with 25 points

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. (AP) -- Summer Erb scored 25 points, including 19 in the decisive opening half, and grabbed seven rebounds to lead North Carolina State (No. 8 ESPN/USA Today, No. 11 Associated Press) to an 86-56 victory over Wake Forest on Monday night.

North Carolina State (16-4, 7-2 Atlantic Coast Conference) used a 22-6 run to take a 35-19 lead in the opening half and was up 43-29 at halftime.

The Wolfpack's full-court press forced Wake Forest into 24 turnovers and they converted those into 22 points.

Erb was 10-for-16 from the field for North Carolina State, which finished with a 49-31 rebound advantage.

Alisha Mosley scored 12 points for Wake Forest (6-14, 2-7).
