RUSTON, Louisiana (Ticker) -- Tamicha Jackson scored 23 points on 9-of-15 shooting to lead fourth-ranked Louisiana Tech to a 93-72 victory over Western Kentucky in a Sun Belt Conference matchup.

Ayana Walker added 17 points and six rebounds for the Lady Techsters (19-2, 10-0 Sun Belt), who have won eight straight since losing to top-ranked Connecticut, 90-63.

Louisiana Tech shot 71 percent (25-of-35) from the field in the first half, racing out to a 61-30 lead.

Jaime Walz scored 26 points for the Western Kentucky (15-8, 9-3), which shot 36 percent (23-of-64), making 3-of-20 3-pointers.
