MILWAUKEE (Ticker) -- Abbie Willenborg had 21 points to become the all-time leading scorer in school history as 25th-ranked Marquette recorded its season-high seventh straight win, 65-40 over Conference USA rival North Carolina-Charlotte.

Willenborg shot 7-of-14 from the floor and has 1,762 points, three better than Julie Sievers scored from 1980-83. Willenborg had four points during a 16-3 run as the Golden Eagles opened a 61-38 lead with 3:13 left.

A two-time all-conference performer, Willenborg also had 10 rebounds and helped Marquette (21-4, 13-1 C-USA American) compile its longest winning streak since a 13-game run during the 1997-98 season.

Kristi Johnson scored 11 points and Lisa Oldenburg added 10 and eight rebounds for the Golden Eagles, who shot 37 percent (22-of-59) from the floor.

Marquette was 17-of-27 from the line, while UNC-Charlotte was only 3-of-4.

Jameka Jones scored 13 points for the 49ers (8-16, 3-10), who shot 26 percent (17-of-65) from the field, committed 19 turnovers and lost for the 10th time in 11 games.
