Daley, Burse ride Wave into semis

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (AP) -- Grace Daley scored 29 points and Janell Burse had 27 points and 10 rebounds as Tulane (No. 21 ESPN/USA Today, No. 23 AP) beat Cincinnati 91-78 Saturday in the Conference-USA tournament.

Burse was 11-of-13 from the field and Daley hit all 12 free-throw attempts.

Tulane (24-4) will play North Carolina-Charlotte in Sunday's semifinals.

Fabrecia Roberson and Sarah Goree added 13 apiece for Tulane. Goree also hit 3-of-4 3-pointers, and Roberson was 9-of-10 from the free-throw line.

Cincinnati (17-12) led 36-31 at halftime, but Tulane rallied to improve from 44 percent shooting in the first half to 70.4 percent in the second. Tulane finished with 57.7 percent shooting to Cincinnati's 40.9 percent.

Madinah Slaise led Cincinnati with 16 points, Candice Holley had 14, Nikki Groeber 13, Tish Perry 11 and Kristen Sharp 10.
