GREENSBORO, N.C. (AP) -- Milli Martinez scored 12 of her 16 points in the last eight minutes as Georgia Tech rallied to a 71-62 victory over No. 15 North Carolina State (No. 14 ESPN/USA Today, No. 15 AP) in the Atlantic Coast Conference tournament Saturday.

Amy Lingenfelder had 18 points and Regina Tate 17 as the sixth-seeded Yellow Jackets (15-12) won their first ACC tournament game in three years and earned their first berth in the conference semifinals since 1992. Freshman point guard Nina Barlin had season highs of 11 assists and seven rebounds.

Third-seeded North Carolina State (20-8) made just one field goal in the final five minutes and lost its fourth consecutive game, the Wolfpack's worst slide this season.

Tynesha Lewis had 23 points for North Carolina State, which lost in the quarterfinals for the fourth consecutive year. Kaayla Chones and Monica Bates each added 12 points.

There were eight lead changes and two ties in the second half before Martinez hit a pair of foul shots to put Georgia Tech up 57-56. It started a 10-3 run that gave the Yellow Jackets their biggest lead to that stage, 65-59, when Barlin fed Tate for a fast-break layup with 2:05 left.

Lewis answered with a 3-pointer, but North Carolina State was unable to get closer.

The Yellow Jackets sealed it by making all six of their free throws in the last 35 seconds.
