PHILADELPHIA (AP) -- Nicole Levandusky had 19 points as Xavier won its first Atlantic 10 title with a 80-66 victory over No. 23 George Washington in the conference championship game Monday.
Levandusky, who was selected the tournament MVP, scored 14 points in the second half, and was 8-for-12 from the field to help Xavier (26-4) advance to the NCAA tournament. Amy Waugh added 14 points, Jennifer Phillips had 13 points and a career-high 16 rebounds, and Kim Hotz also had 13 points for the Musketeers, who have won 15 of their last 16 games.
