RUSTON, La. (AP) -- Jillian Danker scored four of her seven points in double overtime as Vanderbilt beat Kansas 71-69 in the NCAA Midwest regional Saturday night. Chantelle Anderson had 25 points for Vanderbilt, and Zuzana Klimesova added 20 points and 11 rebounds. Danker made a 3-pointer with 3:50 left in the second overtime to give Vanderbilt a 65-64 lead. With 30.9 seconds left, Danker made a free throw to give Vanderbilt a 70-69 lead. Vanderbilt's Ashley McElhiney added a free throw with 2.6 seconds left. Lynn Pride's desperation 3-point attempt at the buzzer for Kansas (20-10) bounced off the back rim. Vanderbilt (21-12), the No. 9 seed, will face top-seeded Louisiana Tech on Monday night. The Lady Techsters beat Alcorn State 95-53. The game was tied 51-51 at the end of regulation when a lob pass intended for Pride hit the backboard and bounced away as time expired. The teams ended the first overtime tied at 61. In the second overtime, Pride opened with a 3-pointer to make it 64-61 for Kansas, but Anderson sank a free throw and Danker hit her 3-pointer.
