Pride leads Kansas over Louisville

ANCHORAGE, Alaska (AP) -- Lynn Pride scored 19 points as Kansas (No. 21 ESPN/USA Today, No. 19 Associated Press) beat Louisville 78-68 Thursday in the championship game of the Great Alaska Shootout.

Suzi Raymant added 17 points and 13 rebounds for the Jayhawks (3-0), and Brooke Reves and Jennifer Jackson each had 13 points.

Kara Kessans led Louisville (2-1) with 24 points, shooting 7-for-8 from 3-point range. Jill Morton added 14 points, and Shanta Bowens had 12.

Kansas took a 24-8 lead, but Kessans hit three pointers to help Louisville close within three at 33-30 late in the half.
