EUGENE, Oregon (Ticker) -- Shaquala Williams scored 19 points and Angelina Wolvert added 13 off the bench as 14th-ranked Oregon advanced to the final of the Pepsi Shootout with a 77-42 rout of Howard. Williams, an All-Pac 10 performer last season as a freshman, shot 7-of-14 from the floor in just 24 minutes and helped the Ducks (2-0) shoot 47 percent (29-of-62) overall. Jenny Mowe added 10 points and eight rebounds for Oregon. The Ducks have won this tournament the last four seasons and will battle No. 20 Virginia Tech in Saturday's final. It is the fewest points they have allowed since a 76-38 victory over Maryland-Eastern Shore on December 5 of last season. Oregon led 39-17 at halftime as it shot 44 percent (14-of-32) and held Howard (0-2) to 15 percent (5-of-33). Andrea Gardner scored nine points and Mona Gail Baker added eight for the Bison, who shot 27 percent (17-of-64) overall and missed all eight 3-point attempts. Howard takes on Southern Utah in the consolation game.
