ATHENS, Ga. (AP) -- Georgia coach Andy Landers didn't dwell on his latest career milestone.

Kelly Miller scored 20 points and Landers reached the 500-victory mark Wednesday night as the fifth-ranked Lady Bulldogs beat East Tennessee State 78-51.

"He never talked about it at all," Miller said. "I saw it in our program before the game."

Landers, 47, is 500-149 in 21 seasons at Georgia. Among women's Division I coaches, only Vivian Stringer, Jody Conradt and Pat Summitt reached 500 victories in fewer games.

"I'm happy about it," Landers said. "It's a big number. But our objective is to win a national championship at Georgia. That is the last objective I have not fulfilled. If we do that, I will probably say something to the team in the locker room."

Coco Miller added 12, and Angie Ball and Kiesha Brown each had 10 for Georgia (14-1). Tawana McDonald blocked five shots.

"Georgia is a very big, quick and talented team," East Tennessee State coach Karen Kemp said. "I anticipate seeing them in the Final Four this season."

Leslie Burleson and Samantha Copeland scored 11 apiece for East Tennessee State (4-5).

Georgia put the game away at the start of the second half. Kelly Miller scored on a putback and a fast break to cap an 8-0 run that put the Lady Bulldogs ahead 48-29 with 17:13 to go. Brown scored eight of 10 points over a five-minute stretch, expanding the lead to 70-41 with 6:23 to play.

The Lady Bulldogs forced 27 turnovers and blocked 11 shots, holding the Lady Bucs to 32 percent accuracy from the field.

"We have got to develop good habits," Landers said. "We need to do the right things at the right time. And it looked like we lost some of our conditioning over the break."
