KANSAS CITY, Missouri (Ticker) -- Lynn Pride had 18 points and eight rebounds and Jaclyn Johnson led a dominant effort inside with 10 and 18 as 21st-ranked Kansas topped Saint Louis, 50-45, at Kemper Arena.

Johnson helped the Jayhawks (8-3) to a 49-30 rebounding advantage. They also outscored Saint Louis in the paint, 36-16, and had a 16-6 edge in second-chance points.

Nikki White and Jennifer Jackson added eight points apiece for Kansas, which had lost three of its previous five games.

Mandy Lueking scored 15 points and Bridget Beckmann chipped in 11 and 10 rebounds for Saint Louis (7-4), which has lost four of its last six games following a 5-0 start. The Lady Billikens shot under 30 percent from the field (16-of-54).
