Well, that was one costly second-round exit. Brooklyn Nets owner Mikhail Prokhorov paid over $190 million for his roster between salary and luxury taxes -- the highest total in NBA history. But his team fell short of meeting championship expectations, getting eliminated by the two-time defending Miami Heat in the Eastern Conference semifinals.

Now, the offseason begins.

Are Kevin Garnett and Paul Pierce done? Will the team explore trading Deron Williams? Can the Nets convince Shaun Livingston to take less? How will Brook Lopez's foot and ankle respond to surgery? Could he be dealt?

Should be interesting.
