Bills (4-3) at Ravens (2-4)

By Russell S. Baxter
Special to ESPN.com

The Bills make their first regular-season appearance in Baltimore since 1983 (to play the Colts) as they collide with the Ravens in the regular season for the first time ever.

Numbers: Including playoffs, the Bills have committed two or more turnovers in 30 of their last 48 games dating back to '96, turning over the football 103 times in those 48 contests. The Bills have committed four turnovers and allowed four sacks in four wins while committing nine turnovers and allowing 10 sacks in three losses in '99.

The Ravens have scored 181 points in nine wins, 173 points in 14 losses dating back to '98.

Things to look for: After looking like a possible Super Bowl contender, injuries have caught up to Wade Phillips' club in a big way as the Bills need to regroup quickly if they are to remain in the AFC East title chase. The Ravens have little or no postseason aspirations as head coach Brian Billick goes with his third different starting quarterback (Tony Banks) in seven games. The defenses will rule this afternoon.

Etc.: Bills WR Andre Reed (86) needs two touchdown catches to tie Don Maynard (88) for 5th place on the NFL's all-time touchdown receptions list. Reed (87) needs one touchdown to tie Don Maynard (88) for 19th place on the NFL's all-time touchdowns scored list. Since entering the NFL in 1996, the Ravens are 7-20 vs. AFC Central rivals and 11-15-1 vs. the rest of the league.
