Thursday, November 4 Baxter Bits: Ravens at Browns By Russell S. Baxter Special to ESPN.com |

The Ravens make their first-ever visit to Cleveland in position to sweep this newly-created AFC Central rivalry. In Week 3 at Baltimore, Ravens RB Errict Rhett rushed for 113 yards and QB Stoney Case overcame three interceptions by running for a pair of touchdowns as Brian Billick's club managed a sloppy 17-10 triumph. Numbers: The Ravens have scored 181 points in nine wins, 183 points in 15 losses dating back to '98. They have been limited to 11 or fewer points in three straight games. The Browns have been limited to fewer than 300 total yards in each of their first eight games in '99. They have allowed 200 or more yards rushing in two straight games and 4-of-8 contests in '99. In their one win, the Browns forced five turnovers, but in their seven losses they have forced just six. Things to look for: Following their rousing last-second win at the Superdome, the Browns carry plenty of momentum into this rematch with the Ravens, who continue to play respectable defense but are getting little or no support from the quarterback position. The Cleveland fans should be out of their minds, and it will make for a very tough situation for Brian Billick's club, no matter who's behind center. Etc.: The Ravens have lost three straight games. Since entering the NFL in 1996, the Ravens are just 7-20 vs. AFC Central rivals |
