BALTIMORE -- Ravens linebacker Elvis Dumervil left Sunday's game with a groin injury and did not play in the second half of a 33-30 overtime loss to the Cleveland Browns.
His absence hurt a Ravens pass rush that already lost Terrell Suggs for the season in Week 1. Dumervil had two tackles in the first half.
Rookie fourth-round pick Za'Darius Smith replaced Dumervil on a defense that is struggling with injuries. The Ravens are down to two healthy cornerbacks (Jimmy Smith and Kyle Arrington) because Lardarius Webb (thigh) and Will Davis (knee) went down in the first half with injuries. The team used safety Terrence Brooks at nickelback.
In addition, running back Justin Forsett injured his right ankle late in the fourth quarter. He did not return and finished with 121 yards rushing.
"I felt like if I went back out there I possibly could have damaged it more," Forsett said.
