KANATA, Ontario (AP) -- As far as Ottawa's Ron Tugnutt is concerned, Florida made this shutout fairly easy.

Tugnutt stopped 21 shots in the Senators' 5-0 victory over the Panthers on Saturday night for his second shutout this season, and 13th of his career.

"They got really undisciplined and made the shutout easier," Tugnutt said. "We were on the power play the whole third period."

Wade Redden, Radek Bonk, Shawn McEachern and Marian Hossa each had a goal and an assist. Joe Juneau scored in his first game with the Senators, and Jason York added two assists.

After a scoreless first period, Redden and Hossa beat Panthers goalie Sean Burke as the Senators won for the fifth time in seven home games.

Redden scored 4:43 into the second, and Hossa's power-play goal at 14:32 stopped Ottawa's 0-for-25 slump with the man-advantage. Ottawa went 2-for-9 on the power play.

McEachern scored 29 seconds into the third, and Juneau scored at 8:07 to make it 4-0.

Juneau drove a slap shot from the high slot that beat Burke to the stickside for his first goal since signing a one-year, $1.7 million deal last week.

Bonk capped the scoring for the Senators, who outshot Florida 34-21, with a power-play goal at 11:04.

Florida received a scare when left wing Cam Stewart was taken off the ice on a stretcher after suffering a concussion.

While forechecking in the Ottawa zone, Stewart was elbowed by Senators right wing Kevin Dineen. Stewart dropped awkwardly and banged his head on the ice. No penalty was called on the play.

Stewart was taken to hospital in the third period.

"Everybody thought it was dirty, that there should have been a penalty -- a major," said Burke, who made 29 saves.

"The referee (Scott Zelkin) tells me there was no elbow," Florida coach Terry Murray said. "I gave my head a shake, I said 'No way.' It's there, it's on tape. I can't believe there was no call."

Florida captain Scott Mellanby fought Dineen the next time the two were on the ice and Paul Laus went after Dineen in the second. Late in the third, things escalated into a full-scale brawl with Chris Wells attacking Dineen behind the Florida net, causing all the players to jump in, including Burke.

Wells was given a match penalty for attempt to injure.

"There was no intention from my point of view," said Dineen, who played under Murray with the Philadelphia Flyers. "I was surprised they did that. My one intent was to get the puck out. I hate being the focus of this game. I'm disappointed in the whole thing."

Ottawa also lost two defensemen in the second period. Igor Kravchuk left with a knee injury, and Sami Salo left with a broken forearm after being slashed on the wrist by Bret Hedican in the second period.
