| TORONTO -- The Tampa Bay Lightning on Monday acquired left wing Todd Warriner from the Toronto Maple Leafs for a third-round draft pick in 2000.

Warriner, 25, had three goals and an assist in 18 games this season, his sixth with the Leafs.
In 253 career games, Warriner has 36 goals and 48 assists with
117 penalty minutes. The native of Ontario had his most
productive season in 1996-97 when he reached career-highs with
12 goals and 21 assists.
Tampa Bay is desperately searching for production from left wing
behind Fredrik Modin, who has six goals in 23 games. Stephen
Guolla is the Lightning's second-highest scoring left wing with
only two goals in 19 games. | |
