TORONTO -- Joffrey Lupul is expected to miss three weeks because of a broken hand, the Toronto Maple Leafs said Saturday.
Lupul was injured Thursday in practice. He has two goals and an assist in nine games this season.
The Maple Leafs recalled center Sam Carrick on Saturday from their American Hockey League affiliate.
In addition to recalling Carrick, the Leafs sent Stuart Percy back to the Toronto Marlies after he was scratched as the seventh defenseman in Columbus.
