Canadiens say Zack Kassian involved in car crash

MONTREAL -- A team spokesman said Montreal Canadiens forward Zack Kassian was treated for minor injuries in the hospital after being involved in a car accident.

The Canadiens played a preseason game in Ottawa on Saturday night and were given Sunday off. They resume practice Monday.

The 24-year-old Kassian was acquired in a trade with the Vancouver Canucks in the offseason.
