Ben Bishop to start in U.S. goal; David Backes and Erik Johnson healthy scratches

TORONTO - Team USA will have a different look as it closes out a disappointing run at the World Cup of Hockey on Thursday night.

Tampa Bay Lightning netminder Ben Bishop will start in goal against the Czech Republic while veteran Team USA players David Backes and Erik Johnson will be healthy scratches.

Brandon Dubinsky and Jack Johnson, scratched for the loss against Canada on Tuesday night that eliminated the Americans from advancing beyond the preliminary round, will draw back into the lineup.

Both Dubinsky and Johnson play for U.S. head coach John Tortorella in Columbus.

Cory Schneider will serve as Bishop's backup while Jonathan Quick, the starter in the first two games of the tournament, will not dress in what will be the Americans' final game in the tournament.
