NRL Round 6 Line-ups, verdicts, tips, odds, everything you need to know for the weekend

The NRL season continues with the Panthers the only unbeaten team sitting atop the premiership ladder. They kick-off Round 6 with a trip to Brisbane to take on the Broncos who have undergone some changes as coach Kevin Walters searches for answers.

The big clashes of the round occur on Friday and Saturday when the Storm take on the Roosters and the Raiders host the Eels. It promises to be a great weekend of footy, even if it is a little challenging for tipping.

Good luck with your tips.

Panthers: 1. Stephen Crichton 2. Charlie Staines 3. Paul Momirovski 4. Matt Burton 5. Brian To'o 6. Jarome Luai 7. Nathan Cleary 8. Moses Leota 9. Mitch Kenny 10. James Fisher-Harris 11. Jaeman Salmon

Verdict: The Broncos were completely outclassed last weekend by the Rabbitohs in another disappointing display. The Panthers were under the pump early against the Raiders before blowing them off the park. They say each win brings an unbeaten team closer to its first loss, but the Broncos are not the team to end the Panthers run this week.

Tip: Panthers by 28

TAB odds: Broncos $11 (+27.5 $1.95) Panthers $1.03 (-27.5 $1.85)

Friday, April 16

Sharks: 1. Will Kennedy 2. Mawene Hiroti 3. Connor Tracey 4. Jesse Ramien 5. Ronaldo Mulitalo 6. Matt Moylan 7. Chad Townsend 8. Braden Hamlin-Uele 9. Blayke Brailey 10. Aaron Woods 11. Jenson Taumoepeau

Verdict: The Knights are decimated by injury and were beaten badly last week by the TItans. The Sharks have been caught up in a coaching dram all week since they threw away a perfect opportunity to upset the Roosters. You just never know how the Sharks players will respond to reports their coach is being sacked, but the Knights have been awful.

Tip: Sharks by 4

TAB odds: Knights $2.20 (+2.5 $1.85) Sharks $1.67 (-2.5 $1.95)

Melbourne Storm vs. Sydney Roosters, AAMI Park, 7:55pm (AEST)

Storm: 1. Ryan Papenhuyzen 2. George Jennings 3. Reimis Smith 4. Justin Olam 5. Josh Addo-Carr 6. Cameron Munster 7. Jahrome Hughes 8. Jesse Bromwich 9. Brandon Smith 10. Christian Welch 11. Roosters: 1. James Tedesco 2. Daniel Tupou 3. Josh Morris 4. Joseph Manu 5. Brett Morris 6. Drew Hutchison 7. Sam Walker 8. Isaac Liu 9. Benjamin Marsce 10. Siosiua Taukeiaho 11. Angus Crichton 12. Sitili Tupouniua 13. Victor Radley Bench: 14. Adam Keighran 15. Jared Waerea-Hargreaves 16. Nat Butcher 17. Lindsay Collins Reserves: 18. Fletcher Baker 19. Matt Ikuvalu 20. Ben Marschke 21. Daniel Suluka-fifita

Verdict: This promises to be one of the games of the round, if not the year. The Storm demolished the Bulldogs last week, but did allow them to cross for three tries. The Roosters mounted a spirited fightback against the Sharks after being 14-points down, with young half Sam Walker leading the way in a brilliant performance. The Storm will be keen to stay in touch with the Top 4 and will be fired up in front of their home crowd.

Tip: Storm by 2

TAB odds: Storm $1.36 (-8.5 $1.95) Roosters $3.10 (+8.5 $1.85)

Saturday, April 17

Titans: 1. Alexander Brimson 2. Phillip Sami 3. Brian Kelly 4. Patrick Herbert 5. Corey Thompson 6. Ashley Taylor 7. Jamal Fogarty 8. Jarrod Wallace 9. Mitch Rein 10. Tino Fa'asuamaleaui 11. Kevin Proctor 12. David Fifita 13. Tyrone Peachey Bench: 14. Moeaki Fotuaika 15. Sam Lisone 16. Jaimin Jolliffe 17. Erin ClarkReserves: 18. Beau Fermor 19. Herman Ese'ese 20. Sam McIntyre 21. Jonus Pearson

Verdict: The Sea Eagles are taking this home game to Mudgee after grabbing their first win of the season against the Warriors last week. The Titans flogged the Knights last week with David Fifita proving almost unstoppable. If the Titans maintain their current form, the Sea Eagles will be back to their losing ways, even with the return of Tom Trbojevic giving them a lift from fullback.

Tip: Titan by 12

TAB odds: Sea Eagles $2.75 (+6.5 $1.90) Titans $1.44 (-6.5 $1.90)

South Sydney Rabbitohs vs. Wests Tigers, Stadium Stadium, 5:30pm (AEST)

Rabbitohs: 1. Latrell Mitchell 2. Alex Johnston 3. Dane Gagai 4. Campbell Graham 5. Josh Mansour 6. Cody Walker 7. Adam Reynolds 8. Thomas Burgess 9. Damien Cook 10. Tevita Tatola 11. Jacob Host 12. Tigers: 1. Daine Laurie 2. David Nofoaluma 3. James Roberts 4. Asu Kepaoa 5. Tommy Talau 6. Adam Doueihi 7. Luke Brooks 8. James Tamou (capt.) 9. Jake Simpkin 10. Stefano Utoikamanu 11. Joe Ofahengaue 12. Luciano Leilua 13. Alex Twal. Bench: 14. Moses Mbye 15 Luke Garner 16. Thomas Mikaele, 17. Zane Musgrove. Reserves: 18. Jacob Liddle 19. Alex Seyfarth 20. Tom Amone 21. Michael Chee Kam

Verdict: The Rabbitohs were too good for the Broncos last week, while the Tigers were very disappointing in the first half against the Cowboys at Leichhardt Oval. The Tigers will want to start a lot better than they did last week, but its hard to see them troubling the Bunnies, even at their very best.

Tip: Rabbitohs by 24

TAB odds: Rabbitohs $1.10 (-17.5 $1.90) Tigers $6.50 (+17.5 $1.90)

Canberra Raiders vs. Parramatta Eels, GIO Stadium, 7:35pm (AEDT)

Raiders: 1. Caleb Aekins 2. Bailey Simonsson 3. Jarrod Croker 4. Curtis Scott 5. Jordan Rapana 6. Jack Wighton 7. George Williams 8. Josh Papali'i 9. Josh Hodgson 10. Iosia Soliola 11. Hudson Young 12. Elliott Whitehead 13. Joseph Tapine Bench: 14. Tom Starling 15. Ryan Sutton 16. Siliva Havili 17. Emre Guler Reserves: 18. Sebastian Kris 19. Matt Frawley 20. Corey Harawira-Naera 21. Dunamis Lui

Eels: 1. Clinton Gutherson 2. Maika Sivo 3. Tom Opacic 4. Marata Niukore 5. Blake Ferguson 6. Will Smith 7. Mitchell Moses 8. Reagan Campbell-Gillard 9. Reed Mahoney 10. Junior Paulo 11. Shaun Lane 12. Ryan Matterson 13. Nathan Brown Bench: 14. Oregon Kaufusi 15. Isaiah Papali'i 16. Keegan Hipgrave 17. Bryce Cartwright Reserves: 18. Joey Lussick 19. Haze Dunster 20. Wiremu Greig 21. Jordan Rankin

Verdict: Another ripper of a game as these two look to recover from losses last week. The Raiders started well against the Panthers before losing Charnze Nicoll-Klokstad to HIA and falling away after hat. The Eels suffered their first loss to a fired up and aggressive Dragons side, something Raiders coach Ricky Stuart would have noted. The Raiders should bounce back at home.

Tip: Raiders by 6

TAB odds: Raiders $1.53 (-4.5 $1.95) Eels $2.45 (+4.5 $1.85)

Sunday, April 18

St George Illawarra Dragons vs. New Zealand Warriors, Netstrata Jubilee Stadium, 2:00pm (AEST)

Tariq Sims 13. Tyrell Fuimaono Bench: 14. Kaide Ellis 15. Trent Merrin 16. Daniel Alvaro 17. Brayden Wiliame Reserves: 18. Jackson Ford 19. Billy Burns 20. Josh Mcguire 21. Jordan Pereira

Warriors: 1. Roger Tuivasa-Sheck 2. Peta Hiku 3. Adam Pompey 4. Marcelo Montoya 5. Ken Maumalo 6. Kodi Nikorima 7. Sean O'Sullivan 8. Leeson Ah Mau 9. Wayde Egan 10. Tohu Harris 11. Josh Curran 12. Jack Murchie 13. Jazz Tevaga Bench: 14. Ben Murdoch-Masila 15. Bunty Afoa 16. Kane Evans 17. Paul Turner Reserves: 18. Rocco Berry 20. Tom Ale 21. Jamayne Taunoa-Brown 22. Taniela Otukolo

Verdict: The Dragons saved their best performance of the year to topple the previously unbeaten Eels last week, while the Warriors were sloppy in losing to the Sea Eagles. The Dragons are riding a wave of confidence and if last week's efforts didn't take too much out of their tanks, they should notch another win at home against the homesick Warriors.

Tip: Dragons by 10

TAB odds: Dragons $1.46 (-6.5 $1.95) Warriors $2.79 (+6.5 $1.85)

North Queensland Cowboys vs. Canterbury Bankstown Bulldogs, Queensland Country Bank Stadium, 4:05pm (AEST)

Cowboys: 1. Valentine Holmes 2. Kyle Feldt 3. Justin O'Neill 4. Connelly Lemuelu 5. Murray Taulagi 6. Scott Drinkwater 7. Ben Hampton 8. Coen Hess 9. Reece Robson 10. Jordan McLean 11. Shane Wright 12. Ben Condon 13. Jason Taumalolo Bench: 14. Jake Granville 15. Lachlan Burr 16. Francis Molo 17. Corey Jensen Reserves: 18. Esan Marsters 19. Mitchell Dunn 20. Peter Hola 21. Jake Clifford

Bulldogs: 1. Dallin Watene-Zelezniak 2. Nick Cotric 3. Will Hopoate 4. Corey Allan 5. Tui Katoa 6. Jake Averillo 7. Kyle Flanagan 8. Dylan Napa 9. Sione Katoa 10. Jack Hetherington 11. Adam Elliott 12. Corey Waddell 13. Luke Thompson Bench: 14. Jackson Topine 15. Renouf Atoni 16. Chris Smith 17. Ofahiki Ogden Reserves: 19. Brandon Wakeham 20. Dean Britt 21. Joe Stimson 22. Matt Doorey

Verdict: The Cowboys were impressive last week against the Tigers, notching their first win of the year. The Bulldogs were at least able to score some points as they were pummeled by the Storm. The Bulldogs would be looking at this game as an opportunity to move off the bottom of the ladder, but they made the struggling Broncos look good earlier this season. The Cowboys should win at home.

Tip: Cowboys by 12

TAB odds: Cowboys $1.48 (-5.5 $1.90) Bulldogs $2.60 (+5.5 $1.90)
