NRL Round 11 Line-ups, verdicts, tips, odds, everything you need to know for the weekend

The NRL has thrown up a tricky Round 11 for tippers, with only a few games that you could feel really confident about. Seems you can't go wrong tipping the Roosters, Storm and Panthers most weeks and they look good to collect two competition points once again.

The first three games could go either way really, with a couple of favourites so hot and cold you never know what they will produce. This could be a round where a couple of upsets are sprung.

Good luck with your tips.

Knights: . Tex Hoy 2. Starford To'a 3. Enari Tuala 4. Bradman Best 5. Brayden Musgrove 6. Kurt Mann 7. Phoenix Crossland 8. David Klemmer 9. Jayden Brailey 10. Daniel Saifiti 11. Tyson Frizell 12. Lachlan Fitzgibbon 13. Mitchell Barnett Bench: 14. Connor Watson 15. Jacob Saifiti 16. Sauaso Sue 17. Brodie Jones Reserves: 18. Simi Sasagi 19. Josh King 20. Gehamat Shibasaki 21. Blake Green

Verdict: The Cowboys had their moments last week in a losing effort to the Roosters, while the Knights were out of their clash with the Tigers before they had barely touched the ball. The game really could go either way with the Knights due to put in a good performance. A lot will depend on the "six again" and head contact calls in this one, as both sides look better with the ball in hand.

Tip: Cowboys by 8

TAB odds: Cowboys $1.50 (-5.5 $1.90) Knights $2.55 (5.5+ $1.90)

Sean O'Sullivan

Tigers: 1. Daine Laurie 2. David Nofoaluma 3. Adam Doueihi 4. Joey Leilua 5. Tommy Talau 6. Moses Mbye 7. Luke Brooks 8. James Tamou 9. Jacob Liddle 10. Alex Twal 11. Luke Garner 12. Luciano Leilua 13. Joe Ofahengaue Bench: 14. Jock Madden 15. Shawn Blore 16. Alex Seyfarth 17. Thomas Mikaele Reserves: 18. Michael Chee Kam 19. Jake Simpkin 20. Stefano Utoikamanu 21. Tom Amone

Verdict: The Warriors were outclassed by the Eels last week, while the Tigers had just their third win of the season against the Knights. Either of these teams could win this game by 10 if things go right for them. The Tigers have struggled to string together good performances, so the Warriors just might have the edge.

Tip: Warriors by 10

TAB odds: Warriors $1.53 (-4.5 $1.90) Tigers $2.45 (+4.5 $1.90)

Cronulla Sutherland Sharks vs St George Illawarra Dragons, Netstrata Jubilee Stadium, 7:55pm (AEST)

Sharks: 1. Will Kennedy 2. Mawene Hiroti 3. Josh Dugan 4. Will Chambers 5. Connor Tracey 6. Matt Moylan 7. Chad Townsend 8. Aiden Tolman 9. Blayke Brailey 10. Aaron Woods 11. Briton Nikora 12. Dragons: 1. Cody Ramsey 2. Max Feagai 3. Jack Bird 4. Billy Burns 5. Jordan Pereira 6. Corey Norman 7. Ben Hunt 8. Blake Lawrie 9. Andrew McCullough 10. Paul Vaughan 11. Josh Kerr 12. Jackson Ford 13. Poasa Faamausili Bench: 14. Kaide Ellis 15. Jaiyden Hunt 16. Daniel Alvaro 17. Junior Amone Reserves: 18. Adam Clune 19. Billy Brittain 20. Hayden Lomax 21. Gerard Beale

Verdict: The Sharks were beaten by a weakened Rabbitohs team last week, as their attitude continues to raise questions. The Dragons put up a good effort against the Storm, but were never really in it once reduced to 12 men. The Sharks thumped the Dragons in the opening round, but since then have had their coach sacked and all the drama that surrounded that decision. The Dragons are much-improved since as well.

Tip: Dragons by 14

TAB odds: Sharks $1.50 (-5.5 $1.90) Dragons $2.55 (+5.5 $1.90)

Saturday, May 22

Gold Coast Titans vs. Canterbury Bankstown Bulldogs, Cbus Super Stadium, 3:00pm (AEST)

Matt Doorey 12. Chris Smith 13. Renouf Atoni Bench: 14. Bradley Deitz 15. Corey Waddell 16. Adam Elliott 17. Dylan Napa Reserves: 19. Tuipulotu Katoa 20. Joe Stimson 21. Kyle Flanagan 23. Ofahiki Ogden

Verdict: The Titans were humiliated by the Panthers last week, but they didn't receive any help from the officiating crackdown. The Bulldogs battled well against the Raiders, but lacked the class to finish them off when they were reduced to 12 players. This should be a straight forward win to the Titans, but they'll either win by 40 points or lose by 6. If you're desperate to move up your tipping ladder, this could be the time to tip a Bulldogs upset.

Tip: Bulldogs by 6

TAB odds: Titans $1.19 (-12.5 $1.80 ) Bulldogs $4.50 (+12.5 $1.90)

Sydney Roosters vs. Brisbane Broncos, Sydney Cricket Ground, 5:30pm (AEST)

Roosters: 1. James Tedesco 2. Daniel Tupou 3. Josh Morris 4. Joseph Manu 5. Matt Ikuvalu 6. Lachlan Lam 7. Sam Walker 8. Jared Waerea-Hargreaves 9. Ben Marschke 10. Isaac Liu 11. Angus Crichton 12. Sitili Tupouniua 13. Victor Radley Bench: 14. Adam Keighran 15. Daniel Suluka-Fifita 16. Nat Butcher 17. Siosiua Taukeiaho Reserves: 18. Naufahu Whyte 19. Fletcher Baker 20. Egan Butcher 21. Joseph Suaalii

Broncos: 1. Jamayne Isaako 2. Xavier Coates 3. Herbie Farnworth 4. Jesse Arthars 5. David Mead 6. Albert Kelly 7. Tyson Gamble 8. Matthew Lodge 9. Jake Turpin 10. Payne Haas 11. Keenan Palasia 12. Tevita Pangai Junior 13. Thomas Flegler Bench: 14. Kobe Hetherington 15. John Asiata 16. Ethan Bullemor 17. Rhys Kennedy Reserves: 18. Tc Robati 19. Dale Copley 20. Brendan Piakura 21. Danny Levi

Verdict: The Roosters continue to impress despite a mounting injury list, beating the Cowboys last week. The Broncos were whipped by the Sea Eagles after having an ongoing battle to keep players out of the sin bin. It is hard to imagine any way that the Roosters could lose this one.

Tip: Roosters by 26

TAB odds: Roosters $1.09 (-18.5 $1.90) Broncos $7 (+18.5 $1.90)

Canberra Raiders vs. Melbourne Storm, GIO Stadium, 7:35pm (AEDT)

Raiders: 1. Caleb Aekins 2. Bailey Simonsson 3. Sebastian Kris 4. Curtis Scott 5. Semi Valemi 6. Sam Williams 7. George Williams 8. Dunamis Lui 9. Tom Starling 10. Emre Guler 11. Corey Harawira-Naera 12. Elliott Whitehead 13. Hudson Young Bench: 14. Brad Schneider 15. Ryan Sutton 16. Corey Horsburgh 17. Ryan James Reserves: 18. Matthew Timoko 19. Iosia Soliola 20. Siliva Havili 21. Harry Rushton

Storm: 1. Nicholas Hynes 2. George Jennings 3. Reimis Smith 4. Justin Olam 5. Josh Addo-Carr 6. Chris Lewis 7. Jahrome Hughes 8. Jesse Bromwich 9. Brandon Smith 10. Christian Welch 11. Felise Kaufusi 12. Kenneath Bromwich 13. Dale Finucane Bench: 14. Aaron Pene 15. Tui Kamikamica 16. Tom Eisenhuth 17. Nelson Asofa-Solomona Reserves: 18. Aaron Booth 19. Cooper Johns 20. Trent Loiero 21. Dean Ieremia

Verdict: The struggling Raiders broke a drought last week in a tougher than expected clash with the Bulldogs. The Storm continued their winning ways despite losing Ryan Papenhuyzen to decapitation early against the Dragons. The Raiders' finals hopes rest on turning things around soon, but the Storm will be happy to keep them in the bottom half of the ladder.

Tip: Storm by 18

TAB odds: Raiders $6 (+16.5 $1.90) Knights $1.12 (-16.5 $1.90)

Sunday, May 23

Keaon Koloamatangi 12. Jaydn Su'A 13. Liam Knight Bench: 14. Benji Marshall 15. Mark Nicholls 16. Jacob Host 17. Jai Arrow Reserves:18. Dean Hawkins 19. Hame Sele 20. Patrick Mago 21. Viliame Kikau 12. Kurt Capewell 13. Isaah Yeo Bench: 14. Tyrone May 15. Scott Sorensen 16. Matthew Eisenhuth 17. Liam Martin Reserves: 18. Spencer Leniu 19. Mitch Kenny 20. J'maine Hopgood 21. Paul Momirovski

Verdict: Despite missing some key players the Rabbitohs managed to beat the Sharks comfortably last week, while the Panthers were in cruise control against a Titans side reduced to 12 players. This promises to be one of the games of the year, with the Rabbitohs returning to just about full strength and the Panthers keen to stay unbeaten. It is impossible to tip against the Panthers at this stage, but each win brings them closer to their first loss.

Tip: Panthers by 10

TAB odds: Rabbitohs $3.70 (+10.5 $1.90) Panthers $1.27 (-10.5 $1.90)

Parramatta Eels vs. Manly Warringah Sea Eagles, Bankwest Stadium, 4:05pm (AEST)

Eels: 1. Clinton Gutherson 2. Maika Sivo 3. Tom Opacic 4. Waqa Blake 5. Blake Ferguson 6. Jakob Arthur 7. Mitchell Moses 8. Reagan Campbell-Gillard 9. Reed Mahoney 10. Junior Paulo 11. Isaiah Papali'i 12. Ryan Matterson 13. Nathan Brown Bench: 14. Oregon Kaufusi 15. Shaun Lane 16. Joey Lussick 17. Bryce Cartwright Reserves: 18. Ray Stone 19. Keegan Hipgrave 20. Haze Dunster 21. Sea Eagles: 1. Tom Trbojevic 2. Jason Saab 3. Brad Parker 4. Morgan Harper 5. Reuben Garrick 6. Cade Cust 7. Daly Cherry-Evans 8. Taniela Paseka 9. Lachlan Croker 10. Martin Taupau 11. Haumole Olakau'atu 12. Josh Schuster 13. Jake Trbojevic Bench: 14. Moses Suli 15. Zac Saddler 16. Sean Keppie 17. Toafofoa Sipley Reserves: 18. Ben Trbojevic 19. Tevita Funa 20. Christian Tuipulotu 21. Jorge Taufua

Verdict: What a way to finish the round with the high-flying Eels coming up against an old nemesis in the much-improved Sea Eagles. The Eels will have to be at their absolute best here, and they are due for an off game. Des Hasler will have his Sea Eagles primed for the upset and they could surprise the Bankwest crowd.

Tip: Sea Eagles by 8

TAB odds: Eels $1.42 (-7.5 $1.90) Sea Eagles $2.80 (7.5+ $1.90)
