Dutch BMX rider Niek Kimmann has injured his knee after a collision with an official during a training run at the 2020 Olympic Games in Tokyo.
Kimmann is one of the favourites for the gold medal in the men's BMX racing and was training at the course ahead of the competition's start on Thursday at the Ariake Urban Sports Park.

After navigating one of the course's jumps, Kimmann collided with a tournament steward who was standing in the middle of the track.
Alongside a video of the crash which he posted on his Twitter account, Kimmann wrote: "I hit an official trying to cross the lane.
"Hope the official is OK. My knee hurts, but I'll do my best to be ready by Thursday! Thanks everyone for the messages, I appreciate it!"
Kimmann is widely regarded as one of the front-runners for gold in the BMX alongside American rider Connor Fields.
The crash compounded a miserable day for the Netherlands' cycling hopes after Mathieu van der Poel fell during the men's cross-country mountain biking on Monday and was later hospitalised with an injured hip.
