England centre Ben Te'o insists he'll honour Worcester Warriors contract

Rugby, Aviva Premiership

England centre Ben Te'o ended speculation linking him with a move away from Aviva Premiership side Worcester Warriors as he insisted he will be at Sixways next season.

Te'o played a part in each of England's Six Nations games this year while injury has limited his he made just eight league games this season and with a further three minutes coming in the Challenge Cup.

"I will 100 per cent be here next year," Te'o told the Worcester News. "I am on a three-year contact. I am in year two and I am going to do year three and that's all I can say on that. I will definitely be with the Warriors next year."

With three games remaining in the season Worcester are nine points ahead of bottom of the table London Irish, and with the club struggling, their prized asset has been linked with a move away from Worcester.

He added: "That's just the way rugby works. There are lots of rumours, there are people talking and clubs talking to each other. I can't control what's going on out there. All I can do is try to do well when I am available to play.

"I was away on international duty when some of the rumours were coming out. I can't get involved in that stuff because I had other things to worry about at that time.

"When I am back I have just got to show commitment to play. I am here to see out my contract. I signed a three year-contract and I will finish the three years. Throughout my career every contract I have signed I have seen out and that's the way I like to do it."
