Maro Itoje has not been included in the England 31-man training squad ahead of Saturday's final Six Nations match against Scotland at Twickenham.

The Saracens forward sustained a knee injury in the championship opener against Ireland at the Aviva Stadium on Feb. 2.

The Rugby Football Union (RFU) confirmed in a statement that Itoje has returned to Saracens to continue rehabilitation after missing the 57-14 victory over Italy Saturday.

England head coach Eddie Jones has included a quartet of uncapped players with Ben Earl, Elliott Stooke, Marcus Smith and Ollie Thorley involved with the group.

England need to win and hope Wales slip up to stand any chance of winning the Six Nations title next weekend.

Wales could clinch the Grand Slam with a win at home over Ireland before England kick off at Twickenham.
