Tom Curry and Sam Underhill will line up either side of Billy Vunipola in a new-look, highly mobile back row against Ireland on Saturday as England coach Eddie Jones continues to juggle his resources in the team's penultimate World Cup warm-up match.

Curry and Underhill, who have both been hard hit by injury, bring a dynamic dimension to the flanks, where Jones still seems some way from settling on his preferred combination.

Captain Owen Farrell plays his first game of the warm-up series but at inside centre, alongside Manu Tuilagi, with George Ford at fly-half.

Jonny May also makes his first appearance this season on the left wing with Joe Cokanasiga switching to the right and Elliot Daly remaining at fullback.

Prop Mako Vunipola, who has not played since suffering a serious hamstring injury in May, is on the bench.

There was no place in the squad for uncapped Bath winger Ruaridh McConnochie, who had to withdraw from both Wales games with late injuries.

Ireland, meanwhile, have handed a first Test start to fly-half Ross Byrne, with captain Rory Best and scrum-half Conor Murray returning to the side.

Byrne will win his third international cap but starts for the first time after appearing from the bench against Italy and the USA in 2018.

The Leinster fly-half, 24, starts alongside Murray, who returns to the side after missing Ireland's 29-10 win over Italy earlier this month. There is no place in the squad for World Player of the Year Johnny Sexton.

Ireland have named a strong side for the Twickenham Test, with experienced Cian Healy and Tadhg Furlong joining captain Best in the front row. Jean Kleyn wins his second cap following his debut against Italy two weeks ago alongside Iain Henderson in the second row, while Peter O'Mahony, Josh van der Flier and CJ Stander complete the forward pack.

Bundee Aki and Garry Ringrose start in the centres with wingers Jordan Larmour and Jacob Stockdale starting either side of fullback Rob Kearney.
