TAMPA, Fla. (AP) _ Raul Diaz Arce scored his 11th goal of the season as the Tampa Bay Mutiny beat the Columbus Crew 2-1 Friday night.

Diaz Arce put the Mutiny up 2-0 on a 2-on-1 break in the 48th minute, taking a pass from Manny Lagos, who had two assists.

Ritchie Kotschau scored for Tampa Bay in the 29th minute, while Robert Warzycha had Columbus' goal on a 25-yard free kick during the 71st minute.

Kotschau's second goal of the season came from 15 yards and was his second in three games. Tampa Bay's Musa Shannon, who has 11 goals, missed the contest with a right knee strain.

Tampa Bay swept the MLS home-and-home series. The Mutiny posted a 2-1 shootout win last Sunday at Columbus. Thirteen of the 16 games ever played between the teams have been decided by one goal.
