UFC heads to France and features one of Europe's most exciting new contenders this weekend.
Salahdine Parnasse, a French-Moroccan talent, has been signed by the UFC and thrown straight into a main-event in Paris against No. 12 ranked Dan Hooker.
"I am taking the biggest step of my career," Parnasse wrote on social media.

The UFC event in Paris is on Saturday Sept. 5.

The fights are live on TNT Sports and its streaming partner HBO Max in the UK.
What's at stake?
Parnasse (23-2) has an immediate opportunity to beat one of the UFC's best lightweights, Hooker (24-14), in his first fight with the promotion. Add to that, he's got home advantage.
That means Parnasse could swiftly announce himself as a contender to be feared in the 155 lbs division. If he beats No. 12 in the rankings, he'll be looking upwards where the likes of Paddy Pimblett and Max Holloway are located.
But New Zealand's Hooker is a gritty veteran who will be no pushover. Silencing the Paris crowd could provide his own career with a fresh boot.
Michael 'Venom' Page is on the undercard fighting Nursulton Ruziboev at welterweight.
Londoner Page is fighting for the final time under his UFC contract so the future is unclear for him. He has one final chance to make a serious impact.
