UConn women still No. 1 in AP poll

While Connecticut remains No. 1, three new teams appeared in The Associated Press women's poll Monday.

North Carolina State, Indiana and San Diego all entered the Top 25 for the first time this season. It's been nearly seven years since the Wolf Pack were ranked, 21 years for the Hoosiers and the first time for the Toreros.

NC State entered at 20th, Indiana was 22nd and San Diego 24th. The Hoosiers and Toreros are both still undefeated this season.

The Hoosiers first game as a ranked team since Jan. 19, 1993, will have to wait as their contest at Purdue on Monday was postponed because of inclement weather.

Notre Dame, Duke, Stanford and Louisville followed the unbeaten Huskies. Maryland, Baylor, Tennessee, Kentucky and South Carolina rounded out the top 10.
