Diamond Johnson, the No. 6 prospect in the espnW HoopGurlz Class of 2020, announced that she will sign with Rutgers.
Johnson, who had been considering South Carolina and NC State, is a 5-foot-5 point guard from Philadelphia.
With a poised backcourt game and a scorer's mentality, she joins a recruiting class that features forward and No. 62 prospect Chyna Cornwell, post player and No. 65 prospect Sakima Walker and three-star wing Erica Lafayette.
Entering the early period of national signing week, the Scarlet Knights were not ranked in ESPN's top 20.
