Manchester United manager Marc Skinner has signed a one-year contract extension with an option for a further year, the Women's Super League (WSL) club announced on Friday.
Skinner, who took over from Casey Stoney in 2021, led United to the first major trophy in the team's history when they comfortably beat Tottenham 4-0 in the FA Cup final last Sunday.

Last season, Skinner's side came second in the WSL -- their highest ever finish in the division -- and reached their maiden FA Cup final, which they lost to Chelsea.
"It's an honour to extend my stay at Manchester United. I've always felt at home here, with our excellent players, staff, and fans," Skinner said in a statement.
"Being able to secure the team's first major trophy at Wembley was a real career highlight for me and another sign of our continued growth, on and off the field.
"Thanks to everyone who has supported me on this journey, and I look forward to creating many more winning memories together."

United's FA Cup triumph has helped compensate for a disappointing league campaign that sees them in fourth place going into the final day of the WSL on Saturday.
The drop-off in league form from last season had created speculation around Skinner's future at United but the club will hope that the manner of victory in the FA Cup final will provide Skinner the platform to attain further success.
