KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- Rashee Rice is with the Kansas City Chiefs and participating as they begin full-squad offseason practice, a source told ESPN's Adam Schefter.

Rice was also a participant in an earlier portion of the Chiefs' offseason program when meetings were being held virtually.

Rice, 24, was arrested this spring in Dallas and charged with one count of aggravated assault, one count of collision involving serious bodily injury and six counts of collision involving injury for his involvement in a six-car crash on a freeway. Police have alleged that Rice was racing another vehicle at high speeds and was traveling as fast as 119 mph shortly before the crash.

He is being sued in Texas for over $1 million in actual damages and $10 million in punitive damages by two people who say they were injured in the crash.

Rice is also a suspect in an alleged assault that injured a man at a Dallas nightclub earlier this month.

Rice led Chiefs wide receivers in catches (79), yards (938) and touchdowns (7) as a rookie last season.
