TUCSON, Ariz. (AP) _ Hanley Frias hit a two-run homer off Mike Myers in the seventh inning Monday night, leading the Arizona Diamondbacks to a 5-4 win over a Colorado Rockies team that committed six errors.

Diamondbacks closer Matt Mantei, bothered by a lingering left ankle injury, left after facing four batters in the sixth. The Arizona medical staff recommended he take five or six days off.

Arizona's Armando Reynoso started and pitched four hitless innings.

Colorado starter Scott Karl pitched four scoreless innings, allowing two hits and working out of a jam in the fourth when Arizona loaded the bases with one out on an error, a single and a walk. Karl retired Bernard Gilkey on a double-play grounder.

Thanks to three Colorado errors _ two by first baseman Todd Helton on the same play _ Arizona scored three runs in the fifth off David Lee, but only one was earned. Luis Ordaz had an RBI single and Matt Williams a run-scoring groundout.

The Rockies didn't get a hit until the sixth, when they scored four runs off Mantei and winner Greg Swindell. Tom Goodwin singled and stole second, Mike Lansing walked, Larry Walker hit an RBI single and Jeff Cirillo had an RBI groundout.

Todd Helton greeted Swindell with a run-scoring triple and Jeffrey Hammonds had an RBI single.

The light-hitting Frias, who had only one homer in 150 at-bats for Arizona last season, hit his first homer of the spring off Myers after Danny Klassen had reached on second baseman Mike Lansing's second error of the game. Myers was the loser.

Before the game, the Diamondbacks got good news and bad news about two other injured players. Manager Buck Showalter said infielder Andy Fox will be sidelined three to four weeks with a hairline fracture in his left hand. An MRI on the right wrist of first baseman Erubiel Durazo showed only mild tendinitis, and he has been cleared to play.
