Career Notes 1995 Started the year at AAA Rochester before being up to the Orioles on June 2 ... In his first major league at-bat that night he singled off Oakland's Steve Ontiveros ... Finished 13th in the league with 22 stolen bases in 26 attempts ... In 37 games before the All-Star break Curtis batted .363 (49-135) with 30 RS and 16 SB in 19 attempts ... After the break he played in 50 games and hit .175 (27-154) with 10 RS, 6 SB in 7 attempts and he had just 5 BB in the second half ... Batted .500 (5-10) with the bases loaded ... Traded by the Baltimore Orioles with Trovin Valdez to the Cincinnati Reds for David Wells on Dec. 26, 1995.
