BATON ROUGE, La. (AP) -- April Brown scored all 11 of her second-half points during an 23-3 run as LSU beat Stephen F. Austin 57-45 Sunday night to advance to the NCAA East Regional semifinals. LSU (24-6), which plays Western Kentucky or Duke next Saturday at Richmond, Va., wiped out a nine-point halftime deficit, outscoring Stephen F. Austin (28-4) by 35-14 in the second half. Stephen F. Austin's Shawnta Johnson scored the first basket of the second half to push the lead to double digits and Stephanie Whitmore hit a short banker with 15:43 to play that made it 35-24. But Katrina Hibbert, who also was held to two points in the first half, hit a field goal on a fast-break opportunity to start the big run. Marie Ferdinand also had two baskets and two key steals during the run and a jumper by Brown gave third-seeded LSU the lead at 36-35 with 11:14 remaining. Brown finished with 13 points, DeTrina White 12, Ferdinand 11 and Hibbert 10. Eleventh-seeded Stephen F.
