A glance at LSU's results this season tells you two things: The Tigers are capable of big wins -- particularly a six-point victory over Georgia on Dec. 2, a 54-52 win over Auburn and a pair of wins over Mississippi State. Yet they're also prone to disappointing losses -- they fell by seven points to Texas Tech, four points to Tulane and had two losses to Tennessee by a combined 68 points. When LSU has come up big, senior guard Katrina Hibbert, junior guard Marie Ferdinand and DeTrina White have had a hand in it. Hibbert, a three-time first-team All-SEC pick, ranks among the top 10 league leaders in seven SEC categories. Ferdinand, another SEC first-teamer, led the league in steals (2.8) and ranked second in points (17.9), scoring at least 20 points in five of LSU's six games heading into the Big Dance. Sophomore center White leads the SEC in rebounding (9.0) and field-goal percentage (62.2). Key stat: LSU enjoyed a four-week stay in the top 10 earlier this season.
