BOX SCORE
TORONTO (Ticker) -- Enforcer Tie Domi snapped a tie with 8:16 left in the third period as the Toronto Maple Leafs picked up a 4-3 exhibition victory over the Calgary Flames. Rookie Nikolai Antropov tied it with a shorthanded goal -- one of three in the game -- at 7:01 of the final period before Domi's goal helped the Maple Leafs even their preseason mark at 3-3. Domi, who had eight goals and 198 penalty minutes last season, scored his first of the preseason, crashing the slot to knock home a rebound of defenseman Daniil Markov's slap shot from the edge of the right faceoff circle. Antropov, Toronto's top draft choice last year, is expected to start the season in the minors. But he capitalized on a 2-on-1 with Sergei Berezin, burying his first preseason goal past goaltender Tyler Moss. Todd Warriner also scored for the Leafs, who peppered Moss with 37 shots. Jeff Shantz scored a shorthanded goal and Derek Morris and Oleg Saprykin added power-play tallies for Calgary, which dropped to 2-4. Curtis Joseph made 27 saves for Toronto.
