PHOENIX (Ticker) -- John Jaha and Bo Porter hit solo home runs and Ron Mahay allowed one run over three innings as the Oakland Athletics posted a 7-2 victory over the Anaheim Angels in a matchup of split squads. Jaha also had a double for Oakland, which recorded 13 hits -- 10 for extra bases. Terrence Long doubled twice and Adam Piatt drove in two runs for the A's, who are 4-1 this spring. Barry Zito, 21, followed Mahay with three scoreless innings in his first outing of the spring. Ramon Ortiz, one of the most prized prospects in the Anaheim minor league system, started and allowed just one run and two hits over three innings. Jason Dickson followed and was hit hard, surrendering three runs and six hits over three innings. Mike Colangelo and Norm Hutchins each drove in a run for the Angels, who managed just six hits.
