MARYVALE, Arizona (Ticker) -- Rafael Roque allowed one unearned run over three innings and Eric Ludwick followed with two scoreless frames, helping the Milwaukee Brewers post a 7-4 triumph over a split-squad of Arizona Diamondbacks.

Marquis Grissom homered and scored twice for Milwaukee, which is 2-3 this spring. Luis Lopez and Lyle Mouton also homered for the Brewers.

Milwaukee was slated to start offseason acquisition John Snyder, but the 25-year-old righthander strained a left rib cage muscle and is listed as day-to-day. Roque, last year's Opening Day starter, allowed two hits and two walks, striking out a pair of batters.

Omar Daal started for Arizona and allowed two hits over two scoreless innings. Greg Swindell also tossed two scoreless inning in relief.

Jay Bell, who hit a career-high 38 home runs last season, hit his second homer of the spring for the Diamondbacks.
