Career Notes 1995 One of eight pitchers who made their major league debut with Oakland this year, Doug was called to Oakland four times in 1995 ... Picked up first major league win vs. Baltimore on the 20th and two of his five big league wins have come against the Orioles ... In just his seventh major league start (ninth appearance) he pitched a two-hit shutout to defeat California 4-0 on September 18 ... Walked just two and allowed just one runner to reach as far as second base ... It was the first shutout by an A's rookie since Curt Young scattered nine hits in an 11-0 white-washing of Milwaukee in the second game of a doubleheader on July 6, 1984.
