BOX SCORE
VANCOUVER, British Columbia (Ticker) -- Mike Fisher's goal with 68 seconds to play in overtime lifted the Ottawa Senators to a 6-5 victory over the Vancouver Canucks. Fisher, a 19-year-old center who has a chance to make the team due to the holdouts of top playmakers Alexei Yashin and Radek Bonk, batted down the shot of Rob Zaumner under the right elbow of goaltender Christian Bronsard. Petr Schastlivy, another center with a chance to make Ottawa's final roster, added a goal and an assist, as did defenseman Wade Redden and Viacheslav Butsayev. Alexander Mogilny scored for Vancouver, which erased three two-goal deficits, the last time in a 4:03 span late in the third period. Steve Kariya, the younger brother of Anaheim Ducks star wing Paul Kariya, contributed one goal and two assists. Bronsard finished with 19 saves for the Canucks, while Jani Hurme stopped 12-of-14 shots in the third period and overtime for the Senators.
